Brand Strategy

Everyone has a story. The Stories which people discuss behind your back, about your Brand defines your BRAND.  We at Growth Interactive have developed a 10 Step process to build your brand story that’s powerful enough to connect and inspire customers for generations to come.

Brand Strategy Step 1

Develop Your
Internal Brand

This step involves the leadership team and provides a solid foundation for the growth of your business. We will help you define the purpose, vision, mission and values your business will need to stand the test of time against your competitors in the market. If there is no solid belief behind why the business exists, then it won’t take long for the cracks to appear in your business.

Brand Strategy Step 2

Define Your
Target Audience

Every business needs a set of customers who understands the value the business brings on the table. It’s the job of the business to identify the emotions behind the customers needs and wants and develop customer profiles in detail to define who the business is targeting. There are a number of tools available online to help you with the same.

Brand Strategy Step 3

Map Your
Market Landscape

Understanding what competitors are already offering to your target customers is an important step in defining your brand strategy. Most cases your customer is already getting served by your competitor and you certainly don’t want to offer just the same, otherwise you will just be another fish in the pond and sitting and wondering as to why I am unable to grow.

Brand Strategy Step 4

Uncover Your
Market Position

Now that you have already defined the target audience and studied your competitors in detail, it’s time to uncover the value proposition which will make the target audience select your product over your competitors. Value proposition has to be unique and better, faster and convenient to the target audience.

Brand Strategy Step 5

Shape Your
Brand Personality

We as humans connect to other humans when we feel our personality and characteristics match with the other person. Same is the case with Brands. Audience will connect with your brand when your value proposition is matching the personality and characteristics of their needs and wants. Marketing is all about Perception and not about selling a product or service.

Brand Strategy Step 6

Identify
Tone Of Voice

Millions of brands and thousands of competitors and all trying to target a customer. What differentiates your brand vs competitors is the tone of voice we use across all our communication channels. Tone of voice can be defined by understanding the target audience through the customer profiles and deciding as to which tone they would be more receptive and connect with.

Brand Strategy Step 7

Develop Your
Messaging Strategy

The first thing that comes to our brain when we are introduced to something new,  is it a threat, is it a danger or is it something useful. That’s exactly what needs to be defined first in your messaging strategy. It has to be spot on as the marketplace is crowded and the attention span of customers is decreasing day by day. Customers have to know at first glance what the brand is all about. You don’t get second chances for making first impressions.

Brand Strategy Step 8

Craft
Your Brand Story

Entire Social media is running because of Story. We all have stories to listen to and more to say. Story is built in our DNA. We always want to know what will happen next and what will happen in the end. We are more likely to remember a story than a factual information. Brands who are able to show what impact the brand will have on their audience through a story, chances are very high that the audience will connect with the brand better.

Brand Strategy Step 9

Develop
Your Name And Tagline

Most businesses straight away jump to this step of the brand strategy directly. But now that we have a clear understanding of our target audience, defined value proposition, competitors knowledge, personality, characteristics, messaging and a story, you will see how easy and perfectly you can name the brand and create a tagline with confidence.

Brand Strategy Step 10

Design Your
Brand Identity

Brand is not a logo. The strategy defined earlier here through a strategic process from defining target audience, studying competition, analysing marketplace, making the personality and giving characteristics, formulating a tone of voice and saying the story is 90% of the work Now with all that information you feel so powerful and can take informed decision on the visual identity of colours, fonts and other styles. THIS IS HOW YOU CREATE A BRAND.
